Interview: Justin on his Inspiration for the Release of ‘Trying to Love’

How does it feel to be releasing your new single?

It hasn’t really clicked yet, I mean, it isn’t something that happens overnight, it has been a very challenging but rewarding journey in which I have learnt a lot about myself as an artist. Releasing my debut single is my yet biggest achievement, and I am truly thankful to all the people that have helped and supported me in any way!

It feels great and I am super excited to share this song to the world as I believe there is a large number of people out there that could relate to “Trying to Love” and nothing makes me more happy than to be able to make that connection with people!

Describe you, Justin Webber, the artist, in 4 words

Confident. Openminded. Passionate. Motivated.

Describe your sound in 4 words

Modern. Touching. Innovative. Involving.

Tell us about the single. What is it about and who/what inspired it?

This single outlines the struggles and transitions of relationships, we all either will eventually go through or have already been through it. It can be a very tough position to be in when things just start falling apart and you just keep trying and trying to hold on until there is only one option left to try! The inspiration came from my own personal experience.

Is this single going to be released on an EP/LP? When is this expected to be released?

1st February 2019.

Are you set to perform the new stuff live? What can fans expect of your live shows?

Yes, I will be launching my debut single on 1st February 2019 at Shark Hotel – Sydney. People can expect a great show with 3 acts opening up before I take the stage and introduce “Trying to Love”, I believe it will be a great night.

Anything else we should know? Can you please elaborate on your art?

The art was designed and painted by me, it was inspired on the idea of the yet to be produced video clip.

The idea is to have a couple dancing ballet throughout the song, trying to keep touch but struggling to do so.
